Honest George is the most reputable mechanic in Fallbrook! So grateful I met him after having bad experiences with two other auto shops in Fallbrook. He's the real deal! He really cares, big, heart, talented, and a real winner! There are many mechanics that just replaced parts, and labor but Honest George is different, he attempts to fix whatever's broken before overcharging with parts you don't need.. I had another experience with a supposedly reputable shop in Fallbrook who attempted to sell me a big brake job when I only had brakes (front pads & rotors) done eight months earlier. This shop told me that I was metal to metal and then I needed them done right away! I took it to honest George Robbins and he confirmed my brakes were in perfect shape. Honest George of Robbins Auto Works is ONLY place to go in Fallbrook! So grateful I found Honest George Robbins!!!

Great experience, very reasonable car ready on time.

I really wish that I could have left a good review because they were nice guys or so I thought. but when you pay almost $1500 to get your car fixed and it barely starts when you go to get it and they say it’s due to moisture in your distributor so you get it home and it never runs right from day one of getting the car back only to have it sit in your driveway dead after only having it back for a month. You pay another Mobil mechanic to come look at it only to be told that the thing that’s wrong is the timing you already paid to fix.

Our Santa Fe was towed to the Hyundai dealership in Temecula where they told us that it needed all fuel injectors plus the fuel pump replaced. Hyundai quoted us $4k for the repairs so we started calling around locally to get quotes as well. I connected with Chris and he immediately questioned the amount of extensive (and as we found out unnecessary) work that we were told was needed. Over the phone, he took the time to explain what he thought might be the issue and how he'd troubleshoot it for us. We had to wait a couple of weeks to get the work done with him since he was booked up, but it was totally worth the wait. He is in demand for good reason! I also had my sister call him since she was having electrical issues with her car and he referred her to another shop that better specialized in that area. We were overall just really impressed with how he does business and would definitely recommend his shop to anyone.

Chris is a great guy who tolerates all my crazy requests. He does great work and is very fair about his billing! George is a little rough around the edges, but seems like a really solid guy too. If you need a top notch mechanic in Fallbrook, this is it !
